The loss of a High School Friend

A few weeks ago I found out that a High School friend was tragically killed in an accident in North Dakota.  Arden was a positive and upbeat person in life.  I truly enjoyed reading his posts on facebook and admired the love that he showed his wife and children.  After his passing, I was reviewing his previous posts and found these posts that he had just recently written.  I thought that I would share them on the blog.  I believe that Arden had mastered the test of life and that it was his time to return home.  I'm so thankful for my eternal family and that during the bleed it was not my time to return home yet.  Again another loss of a friend, and a reminder to me how precious Kirk, Zachary, and Isabella are to me.  The below quotes have truly caused me to ponder and reflect....

This is for my children Cole MechamKaela Mecham, Austin, Ethan, and even little Levi." Live your life in a way that would make God smile, your family proud, and give you personal peace. Do that and your life will be a true success!! I LOVE MY KIDS, I LOVE MY WIFE Darcy Mecham, and I hope when my life is all said and done that God will smile and be proud of the way I have lived my life."

Darcy Mecham (and kids)... I'd like to share with you the quote that your loving husband (and Dad) recently "liked" from a post- "Every one of us has times when we need to know that things will get better...My declaration is that this is precisely what the gospel of Jesus Christ offers us, especially in times of need. There is help. There is happiness... Don't you quit. You keep walking. You keep trying... It will be all right in the end. Trust God and believe in good things to come... Some blessings come soon, others come late, and some don't come until heaven; but for those who embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ, they come."(Jeffrey R. Holland) I hope that brings some comfort knowing that your husband (and Dad) knows this to be true. — with Arden Mecham.
