I'm so happy today is Friday! I took Zachary to OT and Speech and he's progressing nicely. He's excited to begin Kindergarten next year, and play soccer again. Isabella has been busy, which of course is normal for her age right now. Yesterday she took finger nail polish and decided to paint the whites of Elmo's eyes. I guess she thought he needed some eye shawdow. They are both super kids and we love having them. Kirk got called to jury duty in March, and has been busy at work. I have been busy excercising at the gym six days a week, but I have been pleased with my results. I hope to run a a marathon sometime. I found this journey to getting healthy and remaining healthy keeps me very busy, and I take it one day at a time. However, I have learned a lot about myself through this process.
1. I prefer to workout by myself and listen to my tunes.
2. I dislike competitions with other people to lose weight. Weight and excercise are personal, and you should eat healthy and excercise because you want to.
3. I'm determined and persistent when it comes to excercise.
4. I'm happier when I feel healthy and strong.
5. I will never weigh what I weighed in High School, but that is ok.
6. There are no diets. Weight loss is simple you need to burn more than what you consumed.
7. I miss ballet one of these days I'm going to take lessons with my daughter.
